Rose of Jericho alaso known as the Resurrection plant is a desert plant with unusual properties. It is also known as the resurrection flower because the plant seems to come to life after dying. When soaked in water, the plant becomes rehydrated and will unfurl within a few hours. It can survive for years without water, curling up into a ball-like structure when dry and resurrecting with green leaves within hours of being watered.
